World's Longest Bridal Train is 3km



Guinness World Records said the world's longest bridal train, measuring 1.85 miles (3km), was displayed at a Wedding Fair in Hungary.

The organization said the dress, which was displayed at the Bucharest Wedding Fair, was longer than the previous record holder, a 1.54-mile-long bridal train created by a Dutch designer, CNN reported Wednesday.

The creators of the train, which was displayed by a model riding in a hot air balloon, said a team of 10 seamstresses spent 100 days creating the item.

Tim Tebow Has Been Traded To The Jets

Tim Tebow is headed to New Jersey after being pushed out of Denver by Peyton Manning.

NBC Sports reports that the Jets gave up a fourth-round draft pick for Tebow, who will now be nipping at starting QB Mark Sanchez’s Achilles heel.

In other football news, the NFL handed down sentencing today following the conclusion of its investigation into the New Orleans Saints’ “bounty program.”

General manager Mickey Loomis has been suspended for eight games; head coach Sean Payton received a year-long suspension; and former defensive coordinator Gregg William, the program’s mastermind, is suspended indefinitely.

Additionally, the Saints will pay a $500,000 fine, and lose their second round draft pick for the next two years.

Driver Causes Gas Pump Explosion in Miami



A female driver’s impatience at the pump nearly resulted in tragedy yesterday when she slammed her Jeep SUV front-first into a fuel dispenser after cutting in line.

CCTV footage from the Miami Beach Chevron where the incident took place shows the woman jumping in front of a yellow Hummer that was next in line for the pump.

She subsequently loses control of the vehicle and collides with the station, triggering a fireball.

Luckily, the SUV’s two occupants managed to escape, and no one was seriously injured. As of yet, no charges have been filed against the driver.

Daily Aspirin May Prevent Cancer

An aspirin a day keeps cancer at bay, if three studies are to be believed.

The studies conducted by Oxford University suggest that a daily dose of aspirin may not only prevent cancer in the short term, but also reduces the chance that cancer will spread to other organs by up to 50 percent.

Previous studies showed that taking an aspirin a day reduces the chance of getting cancer in the long term.

Australia Supermarket Has A Ghost With A Sweet Tooth



A supermarket in Brompton, South Australia is apparently being haunted by the sweet-toothed ghost of a man who was gunned down outside the building 14 years ago.

Security cameras inside the store captured footage of a box of Fruit Roll-Ups being “flung” several meters down the pasta aisle in the middle of the night.

According to business proprietor Norm Hurst, the supermarket’s previous owners warned him the establishment was haunted. Adelaide Paranormal Detectives reportedly examined the footage and found it to be genuine.

Case closed.

Woman Falls Of Pier While Texting

A Benton Harbor, Michigan woman took a short walk off St. Joseph ‘s South Pier yesterday, straight into Lake Michigan. She was reportedly engrossed in a text message.

Police and rescue crews arrived at the scene around 9:30 PM to find 45-year-old Bonnie Miller and another woman, who had jumped in to save Miller, treading water. They were both pulled out safely, but no word on what became of the phone.
